OSCHE - Who we are

The Ohio Staff Council of Higher Education (OSCHE) is an organization devoted to non contracted staff members of the University System of Ohio.  Each member institution is represented at OSCHE by members of that institutions; staff council, senate, or advisory committee that represents the interests of non contract staff.  OSCHE provides a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to staff and reveals best practices in development or in place at member institutions.   Additionally OSCHE acts as a unified voice for global issues at the state level. 


Member Institutions

The University of Akron Staff Employees Advisory Committee or SEAC serves as an advisory committee to the President of The University of Akron in matters concerning the University's non-bargaining staff employees. The Committee is comprised of 12 members elected by University of Akron Staff or appointed by the President to serve three year terms of office.  Click here to go to the SEAC webpage.
 


Established in 1979, The Bowling Green Classified Staff Council’s (CSC) primary purpose is to provide a direct channel of communication between classified employees and University administrators. The mission of Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is to serve with honesty and integrity as a liason for staff, representing their concerns and ideas to the administration while also fulfilling good works in the community and, in all things, representing the mission of the college.  Click Here to go to the SAC website.

The Miami University Classified Personnel Advisory Committee (CPAC) is a fifteen-member committee that advises the president, vice presidents, and Human Resources Office on matters of concern and interest to Supervisory, Administrative, and Technical Support Staff (SATSS) clasified employees from all divisions of the university, including the regional campuses.  The committee is often requested to evaluate university changes that will affect classified employees.  Click here to go the the CPAC website.


The Ohio State University Staff Advisory Committee (USAC) was established in 1986 as an advisory body to the University President. Its mission is to maintain an active and participatory line of communication with the University community and to provide a forum through which university staff can raise, discuss, and make recommendations on non-academic issues.

The Professional Staff Association (PSA) consists of classified-exempt and unclassified, administrative and professional employees. The Professional Staff Council (PSC) will represent PSA by promoting its general welfare; seeking professional development opportunities; maintaining communications among staff members; and reviewing, initiating, and making recommendations on institutional policy as it affects PSA.  Click here to go to the PSA website.
